Overview

This role is offered through a partner company that handles applications and the remaining hiring steps. The employer is seeking an experienced Senior Project Manager / Technical Project Manager (TPM) who is based in Australia.

You will lead the delivery of advanced financial technology solutions operating across digital finance, payments, and blockchain. The position centers on coordinating complex mobile and platform work, keeping delivery predictable and visible, and maintaining strong execution standards across engineering teams. You will work closely with product, engineering, and senior stakeholders to convert business goals into practical delivery plans and successful launches. The role calls for a mix of delivery leadership and technical understanding so you can contribute meaningfully to discussions that span strategy, architecture, and development processes. Responsibilities

Manage the full delivery journey for mobile and fintech initiatives, covering discovery, planning, release, and post-launch improvement.
Take ownership of forecasting, timelines, and governance so plans remain realistic and delivery stays dependable.
Maintain tracking tools and accurate records so progress, risks, blockers, and dependencies are clearly visible.
Work with product and engineering teams to turn business needs into user stories, acceptance criteria, and implementation-ready tasks.
Support clear communication across functions and help teams resolve technical or operational issues efficiently.
Continuously improve project management methods, sprint planning, estimation quality, and delivery practices.
Serve as a bridge between leadership and technical teams so priorities move forward effectively without unnecessary escalation.

Requirements

At least 5 years of experience in IT project management, delivery management, or technical program management, ideally in fintech, financial services, or another regulated setting.
A solid technical foundation from software development, QA, business analysis, or a similar discipline, with the ability to understand APIs, backend systems, architecture, and CI/CD workflows.
Background in leading cross-functional software teams and delivering complex digital products in agile environments.
Strong working knowledge of Scrum, Kanban, and flexible agile approaches, with the ability to adapt methods to business needs.
Excellent stakeholder management, facilitation, and communication skills, including confidence to question assumptions, estimates, and requirements when needed.
Strong analytical thinking, problem-solving ability, and careful attention to detail.
Professional-level English and Russian communication skills.
Hands-on experience with Jira and modern project management tools for planning, reporting, and workflow control.
