Role overview
This position sits within Citi’s Markets and Operations organization in Singapore. The role supports securities and derivatives processing activities and combines trade control, settlement support, reconciliations, reporting, and operational issue resolution in a global financial services environment.

What you will do
- Review booking requests and carry out trade verification checks to confirm accuracy.
- Create and compare confirmations using ISDA-standard documentation.
- Handle settlement activities and complete daily revaluation tasks within required timelines.
- Route processing exceptions to the right team and work with stakeholders to resolve them.
- Carry out control checks, account reconciliations, and retention of records in line with policy requirements.
- Draft and submit recurring internal and external regulatory submissions.
- Support periodic general ledger proofing activities as assigned.
- Apply sound risk judgment, follow laws and internal policies, and escalate control matters clearly and promptly.
Experience and skills expected
- A degree or an equivalent background in banking operations is preferred.
- Prior relevant experience is preferred, especially in middle office or operations roles.
- Working knowledge of treasury products, accounting concepts, and regulatory frameworks is important.
- Ability to manage several tasks or projects at the same time in a demanding environment.
- Comfort using macros and standard Microsoft Office tools.
- Strong written and spoken communication skills with a clear, concise style.
- Willingness to work on weekends and public holidays when needed.
Additional role context
The role also involves providing proactive client support and assisting the FX PB Client Executive team with daily processing, monitoring, and reconciliation of FX transactions for global clients. You may work with international teams, act as a key contact for client and administrator operational queries, monitor client trading activity in the TRM matching platform, help reduce operational errors, improve trading efficiency, and coordinate with FX operations teams to lower operational risk. Duties may also include booking exotic option trades in Simpliciti, processing NDF fixes, meeting a 15% reduction target in MTPs, supporting system upgrades, troubleshooting technology issues, and reconciling daily FX and options breaks and P&L.

This role offers exposure to client service, product knowledge, market and process expertise, and cross-training opportunities across Equity and Fixed Income Prime Brokerage. It also provides room to contribute to product and process re-engineering, strengthen technical capability, build communication and organisation skills, and grow through teamwork and target-driven work.
Qualifications and competencies
Preferred qualifications include GCE “A” Level or equivalent, strong numerical ability, and industry exam exposure such as IAQ module exams or similar. Candidates who do not meet every listed qualification may still be considered if they bring the right skills and experience.
