Company Overview
Mondrian Doha is known for its energetic atmosphere, with lively lobby gatherings, events, celebrations, and business meetings spread across eight different venues on the property. The hotel offers a distinctive experience in the region, centered around food, nightlife, and vibrant guest interaction.
Role Summary
Working under the direction of the Executive Housekeeper, or another manager authorized by leadership, you will be responsible for keeping guest rooms and related areas spotless, orderly, and maintained to the hotel’s cleanliness standards.
Key Duties
- Clean bedrooms, bathrooms, and connected areas to the hygiene level expected by the hotel.
- Change bed linen every day, smooth out creases, dust furniture, deep-clean bathrooms, restock guest amenities and stationery, and vacuum rooms thoroughly.
- Document serviced rooms on the worksheet and note any rooms that could not be cleaned.
- Make sure VIP amenities are replenished each day.
- Support Floor Supervisors by watering and refreshing guest room flowers and plants when needed.
- Remove waste and soiled linen in the proper way.
- Use and store all materials correctly, keep equipment in working order, and report defects at once.
- Build a polite and respectful relationship with guests, respond to requests and questions, and resolve complaints quickly with proper follow-up or escalation when needed.
- Follow key control procedures and remain accountable for assigned keys.
- Immediately submit any lost property to the Director of Housekeeping and follow hotel procedures.
- Assist with stock counts when required.
- Support special cleaning assignments as needed.
- Handle hotel linen according to housekeeping standards.
- Protect guest belongings and ensure they are managed correctly.
- Inform the Floor Supervisor about any damage to bedding, curtains, blinds, or soft furnishings.
- Notify the Floor Supervisor when a room should not be serviced, including Do Not Disturb or double-locked rooms.
- Report any shortage of linen, supplies, or equipment to the Floor Housekeeper.
- Carry out additional projects, tasks, or other reasonable duties assigned by your department head or hotel management.
