Role summary
The Relationship Manager - First Wealth role is part of the Retail Banking function and sits within Branch Banking, Branch, and Relationship Management. In this position, you will handle and expand a portfolio of high-net-worth clients, serving as their main banking advisor for personalized wealth solutions.
What you will do
- Develop and nurture long-term relationships with high-net-worth customers through consistent interaction and client meetings.
- Assess each client’s financial objectives and risk profile, then recommend suitable investment strategies.
- Promote and cross-sell wealth products such as mutual funds, insurance, and other investment offerings.
- Drive business growth by acquiring new customers and increasing revenue from the existing portfolio.
- Stay informed about market movements and updates in financial products and services.
- Work with internal teams across the bank to deliver a smooth and high-quality customer experience.
- Follow all regulatory guidelines as well as internal policies and operating procedures.
Experience and qualification criteria
This position requires at least 2 years of experience in wealth management or relationship management within banking or financial services. A bachelor’s degree in finance, business, or a related discipline is expected. Certifications such as NISM, AMFI, or IRDAI will be considered an advantage.
Skills and profile
The ideal candidate should bring strong client-handling ability, sales orientation, and a solid understanding of investment products. Good knowledge of the local market and customer behavior is important, along with proficiency in MS Office and related tools.
