Radiology Technician

Job Summary

The Radiology Technician will carry out diagnostic imaging exams that assist doctors in diagnosing and treating patients. The position is focused on delivering accurate, high-quality images while protecting patient safety, following radiation safety practices, and working in line with hospital rules and applicable regulations.

Responsibilities

• Carry out imaging studies, including X-rays and other approved diagnostic exams, based on physician orders and established protocols.
• Prepare patients for procedures and explain the steps clearly so they are comfortable and able to cooperate during imaging.
• Use radiology equipment properly, keep it in good working condition, and ensure images meet quality and safety expectations.

Qualifications

• A bachelor’s degree in Radiologic Technology or a closely related discipline is required.
• A valid SCFHS professional classification is required.
• Applicants should have 1 to 3 years of experience in radiology, diagnostic imaging, or a similar area.
