Quality Technician (Nights)

Overview

Multi-Color Corporation (MCC) is hiring a dependable and proactive Quality Technician to support its Castlebar, County Mayo site. This role is based on a night roster and focuses on keeping quality standards consistent across production, documentation, inspection, and audit readiness.

Working Pattern

The position follows a night shift schedule: Sunday from 11:00 pm to 6:00 am, and Monday to Thursday from 10:00 pm to 6:00 am.

Key Responsibilities

• Carry out quality control processes and confirm that all required production checks are completed.
• Support both internal and external audits.
• Maintain accurate records and documentation for site quality systems.
• Help onboard and train new team members across quality-related activities.
• Perform final product checks and approve jobs for dispatch.
• Ensure work meets customer requirements, supplier expectations, and applicable audit standards.

Requirements

• Careful, detail-focused approach with good organisation skills.
• Clear and effective communication abilities.
• Understanding of sound documentation practices.
• Comfortable using computers and Microsoft Office tools.
• Able to organise priorities and manage workload effectively.
• Capable of working collaboratively in a busy, fast-moving environment.
• A qualification in Quality Assurance is preferred.
• Previous experience in a pharmaceutical manufacturing environment is desirable, though not mandatory.
