Role Overview
An opportunity is open for a Quality Engineer based in Qatar for a contract period of 12+ months. The position reports to the Head of the Quality Department.

Core Responsibilities
- Create, roll out, and sustain quality assurance practices that support strong customer service delivery.
- Review quality data to pinpoint opportunities for process and system improvement.
- Design, suggest, and track corrective and preventive actions.
- Compile reports that clearly present the results of quality-related activities.
- Perform quality audits to confirm adherence to internal policies, external requirements, and applicable regulations.
- Work with external auditors to support ongoing regulatory compliance.
- Support the creation of training material that strengthens quality awareness across teams.
- Take part in continuous improvement initiatives, including 5S, Kaizen, lean practices, and similar methods.
Skills and Competencies
The role calls for strong written and verbal communication, the ability to work independently or as part of a team, solid analytical and troubleshooting ability, a keen eye for detail, and a mindset focused on continuous improvement. Candidates should also be comfortable managing several projects at once while meeting deadlines.
Experience and Qualifications
Relevant background in engineering, quality, industrial, or mechanical fields is expected. Prior exposure to quality engineering or quality assurance in service-based or product-based environments is required. The ideal candidate should hold certification from IRCA, BSI, or an equivalent body as a quality auditor. A solid understanding of quality systems and standards such as ISO 9001, ISO 14001, and ISO 45001 is necessary.
Strong numerical ability and familiarity with data analysis or statistical methods are important, along with advanced computer proficiency in tools such as Visio, Minitab, Microsoft Office, QA applications, and databases.
Language Requirements
Fluency in Arabic and English is required.

This role is for a 12+ month assignment in Qatar. The job is onsite and contract-based.
