Role Overview

Kemipex is seeking a Procurement Executive in Dubai to oversee purchasing activities, strengthen supplier partnerships, and keep procurement processes aligned with internal controls and business needs.

Procurement Execution

  • Handle the full procurement cycle, including identifying vendors, comparing quotations, issuing purchase orders, and monitoring order progress.
  • Make sure all purchasing work follows company procedures and procurement audit requirements.
  • Check purchase requests carefully and drive them to completion within the required timelines.

Supplier Management

  • Build and sustain strong working relationships with important suppliers.
  • Take charge of vendor onboarding, registration, price discussions, and contract renewals.

  • Review supplier performance regularly and support appraisal activities.

Planning & Strategy

  • Partner with business development managers to support sourcing plans and category strategies.

  • Carry out quarterly stock reviews and recommend minimum and maximum reorder levels.

Cross-Functional Coordination

  • Work closely with Sales, Logistics, Finance, and Business Development teams to keep procurement activities aligned.
  • Serve as the main point of contact for back-to-back order processing, except for base oil.
  • Ensure purchasing decisions match business requirements and help prevent both shortages and excess inventory.

Data & Compliance

  • Maintain precise procurement documentation, including supplier records, buying history, pricing logs, and tracking sheets.
  • Track procurement patterns, payment updates, and supplier performance metrics.
  • Assist with the preparation of reports, dashboards, presentations, agenda notes, and meeting minutes.
