Principal E-commerce

Role overview

This position calls for a seasoned e-commerce leader to run and improve online operations, connect them smoothly with supply chain workflows and ERP platforms, and keep day-to-day activity on track. The role is focused on operational control, performance analysis, process improvement, and team leadership to support business expansion.

What you will do

• Take ownership of the full e-commerce operation and keep the process running efficiently and consistently.
• Lead, coach, and evaluate a team of 3 employees to support strong execution and professional growth.
• Work closely with Supply Chain, Logistics, IT, and other internal functions to ensure orders are fulfilled smoothly and customers remain satisfied.
• Track e-commerce results and prepare management-ready reports, dashboards, and business insights.
• Study data from different sources to spot patterns, risks, and opportunities to improve processes.
• Oversee the proper use and ongoing enhancement of ERP tools that support e-commerce activity.
• Build and refine operating procedures, controls, and best practices.
• Follow key performance indicators and suggest actions that improve efficiency and customer experience.
• Contribute to digital transformation efforts and systems improvement projects.
• Coordinate with both internal teams and external partners to deliver business goals successfully.

Requirements

The ideal candidate should have a bachelor's degree in E-commerce, Information Technology, Business Administration, Supply Chain, Logistics, or a closely related discipline, along with more than 10 years of experience in e-commerce operations, supply chain, or a similar area. You should bring hands-on experience managing e-commerce operations and supply chain processes, plus a solid understanding of ERP systems and how they connect with online commerce workflows. Strong capability in reporting, data consolidation, and presenting business insights is important, as are analytical thinking, structured data handling, and problem-solving skills. Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities are required, together with a proactive approach and the confidence to work independently. Fluency in both English and Arabic, spoken and written, is essential. Leadership experience in managing and developing teams is also expected. Professional certifications in Supply Chain, Logistics, ERP Systems, or related areas are considered an advantage.
