Prime Mover Driver

Role Overview

This full-time, on-site Prime Mover Driver position is based in Singapore and involves the safe and timely movement of import and export cargo. The role reports to the traffic control team and requires consistent radio communication, proper documentation checks, and careful handling of both cargo and vehicle assets.

Key Duties

• Coordinate work activities with the traffic control team.
• Keep radio contact active at all times during duty.
• Arrive on time to deliver import cargo.
• Arrive on time to collect export cargo.
• Verify transport paperwork such as delivery notes and pickup orders.
• Complete permit endorsement at customs checkpoints.
• Carry out vehicle upkeep and maintain cleanliness.
• Immediately report any damage to the vehicle or cargo resulting from an accident.
• Inspect, count, and manage cargo carefully and accurately.
• Use company tools, assets, and equipment responsibly.
• Flag any cargo mismatch or shortage discovered while working.
• Follow all safety rules and workplace safety procedures.
• Handle other duties assigned by the supervisor.
