Applegreen is hiring a Night Shift Operator for its Gormanstown site in Ireland. This position is a key part of the overnight front-line team, helping keep the shop safe, organised, and ready for customers while also supporting a positive community-focused workplace.

Key duties

• Run the shop through the night in accordance with company procedures and the nightly checklist.
• Check that all perimeter alarms are set and active.
• Make sure the building remains secure during the night shift.
• Keep the shop clean, orderly, and safe for staff and customers.
• Deliver friendly and helpful customer service.
• Maintain correct pricing labels on products.
• Support stock rotation and restocking of shelves.

Candidate profile

The ideal applicant has prior retail experience, communicates well, and brings a positive, can-do approach to the job. You should be comfortable working closely with others, enjoy a busy pace, and be open to learning new tasks and adapting as needed.
