Role overview
WISKOTS is seeking an experienced NDT Technician at Level II or III to carry out ultrasonic and advanced inspection work for client projects in Dammam. The position focuses on performing UT, PAUT, ToFD, and TFM inspections, with responsibility for accurate setup, calibration, testing, analysis, and reporting.
Key responsibilities
- Visit client sites as required to perform inspection assignments.
- Prepare, set up, and calibrate non-destructive testing equipment before use.
- Carry out thorough inspections on components, materials, and structures using NDT methods.
- Create and apply tailored inspection procedures for specific products and materials during and after manufacturing.
- Detect defects or irregularities in the inspected material.
- Analyze inspection findings and draw clear conclusions from test data.
- Document results in detailed reports and present the findings to relevant stakeholders.
- Keep inspection equipment maintained and in proper working condition.
Requirements
- Diploma or bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering, structural engineering, or a related discipline.
- Valid NDT certification in ToFD or PAUT.
- At least 2 years of experience working as an NDT technician.
- Strong working knowledge of NDT methods, including ultrasonic and radiographic techniques.
- Ability to read and understand engineering drawings.
- High level of precision and attention to detail.
- Strong ability to prepare clear, accurate technical reports.
- Good verbal and written communication skills.
