Role Summary

The Multi Skilled Technician position is a full-time role based in Abu Dhabi with some flexibility for work-from-home tasks. The technician will be responsible for general building and facility maintenance, identifying and resolving equipment issues, and performing HVAC, electrical, plumbing, and basic carpentry work as needed. The role also includes preventive maintenance, service-call response, and support for both major and minor refurbishment activities to keep facilities operating safely and effectively.

Key Duties

• Carry out routine building and facility maintenance work across assigned properties.
• Inspect equipment, identify faults, and implement effective repairs in a timely manner.
• Perform HVAC, electrical, plumbing, and basic carpentry tasks as required.
• Complete planned preventive maintenance activities according to schedule.
• Respond to service requests and address urgent maintenance issues.
• Assist with refurbishment work, both small-scale and major projects.
• Maintain accurate maintenance logs and related records.
• Coordinate with supervisors and clients to ensure work is completed to expectations.
• Follow sustainability principles and maintain strict safety standards while working.

Qualifications and Experience

Applicants should have a strong background in equipment maintenance and troubleshooting, along with practical experience in facility management and repair operations. Hands-on exposure to building maintenance, including HVAC, electrical, plumbing, and general repair work, is important. Knowledge of preventive maintenance methods and safe working practices is also expected. A technical diploma or certification in mechanical, electrical, HVAC, or a closely related discipline is required. Good communication and teamwork abilities are necessary for effective coordination with clients and colleagues. Prior UAE or GCC facility management experience is an advantage, and immediate availability to join is strongly preferred.
