Role overview

Cater Care Australia is hiring a permanent full-time Mine Site Cleaner for its Ravenswood Mining Village operation in Queensland. This role sits within the CCS Operations team and focuses on maintaining a clean, safe, and hygienic environment across mine-site facilities. The roster is 7 days on and 7 days off, covering both day and night shifts.

What you’ll do

• Clean mine-site areas such as offices, crib huts, and bathhouses.
• Carry out routine upkeep of shared spaces, including bin emptying, sweeping, mopping, and general tidying.
• Keep stock levels checked and replenish supplies according to the agreed scope of work.
• Provide quick and reliable support during busy periods while maintaining a positive approach.
• Work alongside the wider team whenever extra help is needed.

What the employer is looking for

The right applicant should be detail-focused, comfortable working on their own, and committed to keeping the site neat and orderly. Previous experience in utility, all-rounder, cleaning, or housekeeping roles is required, along with a strong service mindset and the ability to stay productive in a fast-moving environment.

Additional requirements

• Minimum 12 months of experience in a Utility, Utility All-Rounder, Cleaner, or Housekeeper role.
• A genuine, friendly customer service approach.
• A motivated, enthusiastic, and positive can-do attitude.
• Ability to perform well in a time-sensitive, fast-paced setting.
• Good personal presentation and hygiene standards.
• Valid driver licence, either automatic or manual.
• Open only to Australian permanent residents.
