MEP Engineer

About the Role

This position is with a major organization working in warehousing, logistics, and infrastructure development. The role focuses on end-to-end handling of mechanical, electrical, and plumbing systems for large industrial and warehouse projects across India, with an emphasis on safe, compliant, and on-schedule delivery.

Key Responsibilities

• Examine MEP drawings, technical specifications, bills of quantities, and project requirements to plan execution effectively.
• Work closely with consultants, contractors, vendors, and internal project teams to keep MEP work moving smoothly.
• Oversee the installation of HVAC, electrical, fire-fighting, plumbing, and utility systems.
• Track project milestones, workmanship quality, and adherence to timelines.
• Make sure all work follows applicable statutory rules, safety standards, and industry norms.
• Check contractor invoices, monitor spending, and assist with cost control measures.
• Support testing, commissioning, and final handover of MEP systems.
• Keep project records up to date, including drawings, approvals, and status reports.
• Recommend and apply improvements that enhance project delivery, quality, and cost efficiency.

Qualifications

• B.E. or B.Tech in Mechanical Engineering or Electrical Engineering
