About ASMO

ASMO is a joint venture created by DHL and Aramco, combining DHL’s logistics strength with Aramco’s broad supply chain network to introduce a new standard in procurement and supply chain services. Role Objective

The Marketing & Communications Specialist for External Communications is expected to support ASMO’s commercial expansion by delivering focused B2B marketing and communication initiatives across digital and offline channels. The role is aimed at turning MoU partners into active customers and helping create qualified new business opportunities. It is a practical, execution-focused position that requires close coordination with internal teams, external stakeholders, and customers to contribute directly to pipeline growth and revenue generation.

Key Responsibilities

  • Create and roll out external communication plans that support employee engagement and reflect ASMO’s mission, vision, and values.
  • Make sure all outward-facing messages are consistent with the company’s tone, values, and business priorities.
  • Partner with Business Development to understand customer status, identify priority accounts, and map target sectors.
  • Develop sales enablement and marketing collateral such as pitch decks, one-pagers, and case studies.
  • Work with Operations and Procurement teams so external messaging accurately represents ASMO’s capabilities and readiness.
  • Prepare briefing notes, speaking points, and key message packs for external interactions and coordinate them with ASMO representatives.
  • Plan and deliver 360-degree communication campaigns around important milestones, including social media, email communications, press announcements, and interviews.
  • Own the external newsletter process end-to-end, including content creation, design coordination with brand standards, distribution, and database upkeep.
  • Liaise with media outlets, event organizers, and industry platforms to secure visibility and speaking opportunities.
  • Support events from start to finish, including pre-event communication, executive materials, and post-event follow-up.
  • Write press releases, announcements, opinion pieces, and customer success stories tied to ASMO milestones.
  • Update website content such as news, announcements, and insights in coordination with the technology team.
  • Ensure a unified message across all external channels, including the website, social media, and media coverage.
  • Keep the marketing materials repository current and commercially relevant.
  • Build and maintain external contact databases covering media, partners, and prospective customers.
  • Work with internal and external stakeholders to gather updates and ensure important messages are delivered effectively.
  • Collaborate with HR, leadership, and other departments to align external communications with business strategy.
  • Help define and structure external communication frameworks so information flows smoothly across ASMO.
  • Continuously improve communication processes so they stay aligned with business needs and industry standards.
  • Ensure all external communication activities follow corporate branding guidelines and company policies.
  • Contribute to improving communication workflows for better efficiency and impact.
  • Prepare regular and ad hoc reports and surveys related to external communications.

Qualifications

  • A bachelor’s degree in Marketing & Communications, Business Administration, or a similar field from an accredited and recognized university is required.
  • Strong command of both spoken and written English and Arabic is necessary.
  • At least 7 years of experience in external communications or corporate communications is required.
  • Hands-on experience in content writing, external messaging, and managing external communication platforms in both Arabic and English is needed.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft PowerPoint and related Microsoft programs is expected.
  • Knowledge of the energy, chemical, and industrial sectors, along with media relations, communication, attention to detail, speaking in Arabic and English, event planning, and design is important.
  • Strong organizational abilities and the capacity to manage several projects at once are essential.
