The company also invests in employee development and promotes a workplace culture rooted in trust, care, inclusion, and enjoyment.

This position sits within Strategic Planning & Initiatives under Go-to-Market Operations, supporting transformational programs that improve sales processes and create efficiency and growth for the LinkedIn Marketing Solutions business.

Role overview

LinkedIn is hiring a People Manager to lead the Process Improvement Engine team. The role calls for strong program leadership, sound judgment, data-driven thinking, and the ability to coordinate smoothly across many functions while guiding a team that runs multiple large-scale global projects.

The working model for this role is hybrid, combining home and office work on selected days based on business needs. The role can be based in New York, Chicago, San Francisco, or Sunnyvale.

Key responsibilities

  • Lead programs from start to finish by shaping hypotheses from data, developing recommendations, influencing leadership decisions, building stakeholder engagement approaches, planning execution, and ensuring change management and operational readiness.
  • Coach and develop team members so they understand program management and change management methods, while also ensuring they have the tools, training, and support needed to deliver high-quality work.
  • Develop strong working relationships with a broad set of internal partners and create the conditions for successful delivery.
  • Serve as the program lead to make sure initiatives are structured correctly, risks are addressed early, team members are prepared, and outcomes are tracked against the right KPIs.
  • Keep stakeholders informed through consistent updates on program status, progress, and performance.
  • Identify emerging risks across the portfolio and work with stakeholders and cross-functional peers to create practical mitigation plans.
  • Actively invest in team growth and continuous improvement by learning from one another and raising performance standards.
  • Operate with an ownership mindset and contribute beyond the core function by driving results that help the business scale.

Qualifications

Applicants should bring a strong background in program or project management, management consulting, sales or go-to-market operations, process improvement, or a similar field, along with experience leading teams. A bachelor’s degree or equivalent practical experience in a technical or related area is required, and familiarity with Microsoft Office tools is expected.

Preferred experience includes working independently with strong prioritization and time management, thriving in fast-paced performance-driven settings, influencing across teams, presenting data clearly, solving ambiguous problems, learning new systems quickly, and providing strategic, consultative, data-backed recommendations. Additional exposure to CRM platforms, sales tools, data visualization tools, AI, key sales processes, workflow design, SQL or other programming languages, digital advertising or marketing, and PMP or Six Sigma certification is also valued.

Compensation and benefits

The salary range for this position is USD 126,000 to USD 204,000 per year. Final compensation depends on factors such as skills, depth of experience, certifications, and work location, and may vary by geography.

The overall package may also include an annual performance bonus, stock, benefits, and other incentive compensation. Additional benefits information is available through the company’s careers site.

The employer provides equal employment opportunity and considers qualified applicants regardless of protected characteristics including race, color, religion, creed, gender, national origin, age, disability, veteran status, marital status, pregnancy, sex, gender identity or expression, sexual orientation, citizenship, or any other legally protected status.

The company is committed to an accessible hiring experience. Examples include alternate-format or read-aloud documents, accessible interview locations, service animal access, or a sign language interpreter. Accommodation requests are typically answered within three business days. Non-disability-related follow-ups will not receive a response.
