We have a full-time opportunity for an experienced Maintenance Team Member to join our team at the Canberra Centre site.

Work Schedule

The role involves a rotating shift schedule:

• Week 1: 06:00 - 14:00, Monday to Friday
• Week 2: 09:30 - 17:30, Monday to Thursday; 13:00 - 20:00, Friday; 09:00 - 17:00, Saturday & Sunday
• Week 3: 07:00 - 15:00, Wednesday to Friday

Role Overview

The primary functions of this role include performing general handyman and trade duties such as painting and patching, removing hard waste, operating handheld power tools, conducting preventative and corrective maintenance, and ensuring the high presentation of the center. Excellent customer service skills are essential for interacting with tenants and clients, and a flexible approach to work is required.

Requirements for Success

• Previous experience in maintenance or as a handyman.
• Proficiency in versatile handyman tasks.
• Ability to operate power tools; forklift and scissor lift (EWP) operation is highly desirable.
• Basic plumbing skills.
• Physical capability to move equipment.
• Strong teamwork and self-motivation skills.
• Ability to liaise effectively with customers.
• A trade qualification is considered beneficial.
