Junior Criminal Analyst

Dynamis, Inc. is hiring a Junior Criminal Analyst for a high-impact support role tied to HSI worksite enforcement efforts. In this position, you will help protect the integrity of the U.S. workforce by assisting with Worksite Enforcement Unit (WSEU) investigations. You will work alongside HSI special agents and contribute to the review of employment records, government data sources, and business documentation that inform enforcement actions.

Your analysis will directly support major outputs such as Notices of Inspection, Notices of Intent to Fine, and other authorized enforcement measures. Responsibilities

In this position, you will be expected to:

• Review employer I-9 forms, payroll information, corporate records, and related employment documents to identify compliance issues and possible violations of federal immigration employment rules.
• Search and compare information across law enforcement and commercial databases to uncover inconsistencies, trends, and other findings that support active investigations.
• Write concise, accurate, and defensible case summaries, analytical reports, and supporting findings that can stand up to review and scrutiny.
• Assist with coordination efforts that connect domestic and international investigative initiatives and partner organizations.
• Organize and maintain case files in line with DHS/ICE privacy and data-handling requirements while flagging possible worksite compliance concerns.
• Prepare briefing documents and analytical support materials for site inspections, enforcement actions, and senior leadership meetings.

Requirements

Applicants should bring the following qualifications and capabilities:

• A bachelor’s degree in criminal justice, business administration, public administration, law, or another closely related field.
• One to two years of relevant experience in compliance, investigations, legal support, immigration services, or a similar area.
• Strong research and analytical ability, with the skill to review and synthesize large amounts of information accurately.
• Clear written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to produce formal analytical writing and coordinate with federal law enforcement staff.
• Experience handling high-volume data entry from paper records into electronic systems, along with database querying experience across law enforcement and commercial platforms.
• Ability to obtain and keep an ICE suitability determination.
• U.S. citizenship.

Preferred Background

• Prior experience with federal law enforcement or regulatory agencies is highly valued.
• Knowledge of employment eligibility verification processes, especially Form I-9 compliance and E-Verify, is a strong advantage.
• Experience with HSI, ICE, or other DHS operations, particularly involving sensitive or law-enforcement-controlled information, is preferred.
• Familiarity with government databases or investigative case management tools would be an asset.
