Role overview
An established technology-led FMCG business with a strong presence across the UK, parts of Europe, and Asia is expanding into several markets and regions in the UK. The company is recruiting a substantial intake of Junior Business Development Managers to build and develop customer accounts as part of newly formed teams.
This is a largely remote, autonomous role where you will manage your own diary, shape your day, and progress based on your strengths and interests.
Compensation and package
- Base pay of £22,000 per year
- OTE/commission is included, bringing total earnings to £22,000

What the role involves
- Build a strong understanding of the business, its market, competitors, and target customers
- Plan your territory effectively by deciding which prospects and clients to prioritise and when to visit them
- Maintain regular contact with prospects by phone and in person, handling objections and explaining the company’s value proposition
- Roll out marketing and category initiatives across your customer base
- Track and manage sales performance across your assigned area
- Represent the company professionally at regional and national events, conferences, and networking opportunities to support new business growth

- Availability to work 1:30pm to 7:30pm
