Role Summary

The selected technician will handle irrigation system work for the nursery division, with responsibilities related to installation, repair, operation, and maintenance of irrigation infrastructure. Practical knowledge of piping, valves, water distribution, pumps, and pressure control is important for this position.

Responsibilities

• Install and maintain irrigation systems as required for site operations.
• Carry out repair work on irrigation equipment and associated components.
• Work with piping, tubing, valves, sprinkler heads, and related hardware.
• Monitor and manage water flow and pressure for efficient system performance.
• Operate pumps and adjust system settings based on site requirements.
• Support system design-related tasks and perform electrical wiring work where needed.
• Assess soil type and help align irrigation practices with ground conditions.

Requirements

• Must have at least 5 years of relevant experience; 5 to 8 years is preferred for the role.
• Should hold a Diploma or I.T.I. qualification.
• Prior experience in irrigation system installation and repair is required.
• Knowledge of piping and tubing, valve handling, pump operation, sprinkler adjustment, and pressure regulation is needed.
• Familiarity with soil type analysis, electrical wiring, and irrigation system design will be useful.
