Intermediate Structural Revit Technician

About the role

We are seeking a confident Intermediate Structural Technician to join a growing Auckland team. This position suits someone with 3 to 6 years of experience in structural Revit modelling who wants to deepen technical expertise while contributing to a varied project portfolio.

What you’ll do

Working with engineers and the wider design group, you will help produce strong-quality structural documentation for residential, commercial, and industrial work. The role combines modelling, documentation, coordination, and site involvement.

• Create precise Revit models and supporting documentation.
• Own assigned deliverables and keep work aligned with project timelines.
• Assist with both early-stage concepts and detailed design development.
• Coordinate documentation and track changes in project scope.
• Carry out construction monitoring visits and contribute to technical reports.

About you

• You bring 3 to 6 years of experience as a Structural Technician, with solid Revit modelling ability in a consulting setting.
• You have experience producing structural documentation under the direction of engineers and senior technicians.
• Exposure to additional AEC platforms would be an advantage.
• You are highly proficient in Revit and have strong drafting and documentation skills.
• You understand construction methods well.
• You have worked with steel, reinforced and precast concrete, and timber structures.
• You are familiar with relevant NZ Building Codes and statutory requirements.
• You communicate well and work effectively in a collaborative team.
