Overview
Hillarys is offering a flexible installer opportunity for people who want to work either full-time or part-time, close to home and with control over their own schedule. The business has been running for more than 50 years, is a leading UK provider of window furnishings, and continues to grow, with an annual turnover of £250m.
Role summary
As an Installer, you will visit customers in their homes to measure up and fit a wide range of products, including shutters. Design Consultants handle the order processing and payment, allowing you to concentrate on delivering a high level of customer service.

This opportunity is designed for self-employed Advisors who want the independence of running their own local business with the backing of an established brand. You will be supported by advertising, training, and business tools, while managing your own diary and work commitments.
Who this can suit
You do not need to have done this exact job before. Many successful Advisors began with backgrounds in construction or trades such as joinery, carpentry, or fitting windows and kitchens. A willingness to learn and make the most of the training provided is important.
Support and setup
- Full training is provided for both starting out and developing the business over time.
- You will receive a sales toolkit with product samples, a tablet, and software.
- The installation kit includes all necessary measuring equipment and tools, including power tools.
- You will be supplied with branded clothing plus personalised business cards and leaflets to present a professional image.
