Role overview

Wind Crest by Erickson Senior Living is hiring a Housekeeper for its gated retirement community in Highlands Ranch, Colorado. This position is entirely on-site, and because all clients live within the community, there is no travel involved. The role supports a senior living environment focused on comfort, cleanliness, and resident well-being.

Compensation for this position is $19.00 to $21.00 per hour.

Key duties

• Clean resident homes in independent living areas and resident rooms in nursing home settings.
• Keep community spaces clean using specialized housekeeping equipment.
• Maintain public restrooms by cleaning counters, mirrors, sinks, toilets, fixtures, and related surfaces.
• Clean common areas such as lobbies and living rooms by vacuuming, dusting high and low surfaces, removing clutter, disposing of trash, and spot-cleaning walls, windows, switches, baseboards, pictures, lights, and HVAC vents.
• Service classrooms by dusting, vacuuming, and cleaning boards, tables, and chairs.
• Collect, bag, and dispose of waste, including replacing trash liners.
• Care for carpeted areas through extraction, interim cleaning, spot treatment, drying, and vacuuming.

Requirements and preferences

• Prior cleaning experience in a residential or commercial environment is preferred.
• Ability to use carpet care tools, hard floor care equipment, and trash removal equipment safely.
• Capacity to work both independently and as part of a team.
• Ability to operate housekeeping vehicles safely.
• Strong professional communication and responsiveness when interacting with residents, family members, staff, vendors, and coworkers.
