The Ned Doha is a luxury hospitality destination set in Doha’s landmark former Ministry of Interior building. It combines historic character with modern style and upscale service to create a distinctive guest experience.

The property features seven dining venues, 90 tastefully appointed rooms, refined event areas, and Ned’s Club — a private members’ club with a rooftop terrace, spa, gym, and a 30-metre outdoor swimming pool.

Role Overview

The hotel is seeking a dependable, polished, and guest-focused driver to provide safe and professional transportation for visitors. This position is central to creating a welcoming first impression and ensuring guests travel comfortably and securely.

The ideal candidate will bring strong driving ability, excellent service standards, and the professionalism needed to represent a high-end hospitality brand.

Key Responsibilities

• Transport guests safely between the hotel and destinations such as airports, tourist spots, business addresses, and other assigned locations.
• Greet guests courteously, help with luggage, and make sure each journey is smooth and comfortable.
• Share helpful guidance about nearby attractions, landmarks, and hotel amenities when needed.
• Keep hotel vehicles clean, well-presented, and in excellent working condition.
• Carry out regular vehicle checks and promptly report any safety or maintenance issues.
• Follow Qatar traffic laws, road safety rules, and hotel procedures at all times.
• Work closely with Front Office, Concierge, and other departments to support punctual transport operations.
• Record trip details accurately, including mileage, fuel use, incidents, and maintenance needs.
• Respond to guest questions and requests in a courteous, professional manner.
• Take on other operational tasks assigned by management to help ensure the hotel runs smoothly.

Requirements

• A valid Qatar driving licence with a clean driving history.
• At least 2 years of professional driving experience, ideally gained in a luxury hotel or hospitality setting.
• Good knowledge of Qatar’s road system, traffic regulations, and major destinations.
• Strong verbal communication and interpersonal skills with a friendly, professional manner.
• A customer-first approach and the ability to create positive guest experiences.
• Willingness to work varied shifts, including evenings, weekends, and public holidays.
• Neat appearance, punctuality, and consistently high standards of personal presentation.
• Physical ability to safely lift and carry guest luggage.
• CPR and first aid certification would be beneficial.
