General Manager

Role overview

An immediate opening is available for a General Manager in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. This is a permanent, onsite leadership role for a candidate who can join right away or within 30 days. The position requires strong familiarity with the local market, the ability to communicate in the local language, and a history of managing large-scale, high-value operations.

Key responsibilities

• Lead business operations and ensure the organization runs efficiently on a day-to-day basis.
• Convert strategic plans into practical execution and deliver projects successfully.
• Oversee multiple projects and ensure they remain profitable.
• Manage teams of 20 to 30 people, including coaching, development, and performance motivation.
• Drive business development across transport, airport, and utility sectors.
• Build and maintain relevant public-sector relationships, including contacts at RCRC (Royal Commission for Riyadh City) and Riyadh Municipality.
• Handle operations and business coverage across Saudi Arabia as well as countries such as Jordan and Kuwait.
• Use financial insight to support decisions, including budgeting, forecasting, reporting, and P&L management.

Candidate profile

• Master’s degree or Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Science, or a related discipline.
• At least 10 years of experience in leadership roles.
• Background in business operations connected to KSA transport, airport, and/or utilities authorities.
• Proven success in managing projects with a combined value of SAR 100 million or more.
• Experience selling to airport, utility, and transport clients.
• Strong strategic mindset and market-oriented business development capability.
• Excellent execution skills with the ability to translate plans into results.
• Solid leadership, people management, and team-building ability.
• Strong communication skills in English; fluency in Arabic is preferred.
• High integrity and a professional presence that sets the standard for others.
