Role Overview
This position is for a Gaming Arcade Maintenance Technician in Dubai’s entertainment sector. The main purpose of the role is to keep arcade machines, gaming attractions, simulators, bowling lanes, and related equipment operating reliably, safely, and with minimal disruption. The technician will help reduce downtime, complete repairs quickly, carry out preventive servicing, and contribute to a smooth customer experience across the venue.
Work Schedule and Compensation
The job is based in Dubai and follows a 6-day work week with 8+1 working hours per day. The offered salary is AED 5,000 to 6,000 per month.
Key Duties
The technician will handle maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair work for arcade and bowling equipment, while also supporting day-to-day operations as needed.
Additional Information
Applicants should be prepared to work flexible hours and attend to emergency issues outside regular hours when required. The role also involves taking on other operational tasks assigned by the Arcade Supervisor, Operations Manager, or Ops Manager.
Required Background
A high school qualification is the minimum expectation, although a technical certification or an associate degree in a related area is preferred. Candidates should bring 4 to 5 years of relevant hands-on experience, ideally in an amusement, arcade, or bowling environment.
The ideal candidate should understand arcade systems, bowling lane machinery, electronics, and troubleshooting methods. The role also calls for strong practical skills with tools and diagnostic equipment, the ability to read technical documents and drawings, and a careful, detail-oriented working style.
Safety and Operational Standards
Compliance with safety procedures, workplace regulations, and company rules is essential. The technician is expected to identify hazards early, act quickly to reduce risks, and maintain equipment and parts inventory responsibly.
Interpersonal Expectations
Good communication, teamwork, and problem-solving ability are important, along with the flexibility to support the business wherever needed.
