CHILL is seeking a dependable and experienced Forklift / Warehouse Operator to work in its busy refrigerated facility in Silverwater, New South Wales. The role suits someone who enjoys a fast-moving environment, values accuracy, and places a strong emphasis on safe working practices and teamwork.

What the role offers

Hourly pay of $36.09, plus superannuation and attractive penalty rates
Guaranteed weekly hours in the range of 35 to 40 hours
Monday to Friday roster with full availability required between 7:00 AM and 5:00 PM

Key duties

Operate forklift and other warehouse equipment safely and efficiently
Support warehouse and distribution activities in a refrigerated environment
Carry out order picking assistance across the Silverwater and Greenacre sites when required
Work carefully to maintain safety standards and prevent damage or errors
Contribute to smooth daily operations in a busy warehouse setting

Skills and experience needed

At least 2 years of experience in a warehouse or distribution setting
A current forklift licence with hands-on operating experience
High-reach forklift experience, which is strongly preferred
Confidence using different warehouse tools and equipment safely
Strong focus on detail and workplace safety
Ability to work flexible shifts, including weekends if needed
Capability to lift and carry items up to 20 kg
Willingness to complete a National Police Check and pre-employment medical assessment
Valid driver's licence for travel between Silverwater and Greenacre using a company vehicle
Comfort working in cold storage or freezer conditions, which is highly desirable

Additional information

This is a casual role to start, with the intention of converting to a permanent position. The successful candidate must have the right to live and work in Australia. Applicants should ideally live within 20 to 30 kilometres of Silverwater and be available to work according to a roster with flexible hours.

Work conditions

The position is based at CHILL in Silverwater, NSW 2128. The role involves working on a roster, with some weekend work possible. Weekend penalty rates apply in line with the Storage Services and Wholesale Award. A company vehicle will be provided for travel between sites when required.
