Role overview
The Floor Runner supports housekeeping operations by working alongside Cabin Stewards and helping keep daily tasks running smoothly. This role is focused on maintaining cabin cleanliness, comfort, and readiness so guests enjoy a high-standard cruise experience.
What you will do
- Assist Cabin Stewards with day-to-day housekeeping duties.
- Help maintain cabins to excellent standards of cleanliness and comfort.
- Support the efficient preparation of cabins so they are ready promptly.
- Contribute to smooth housekeeping operations across the ship.
- Interact with guests when needed in a courteous and welcoming manner.
- Work with attention to detail to help ensure guest satisfaction.
Experience and background
Previous experience in a Floor Runner role, or a similar position, is preferred, especially in cruise ship or hospitality settings. The role also requires familiarity with housekeeping processes, high cleanliness standards, and delivering service with professionalism.
Essential skills and qualities
- Strong knowledge of housekeeping routines and service standards.
- Ability to work in a busy, fast-moving environment and manage multiple tasks.
- Good guest-handling skills with a polite and professional approach.
- Basic understanding of housekeeping equipment, supplies, and cleaning techniques.
- Team-oriented mindset and comfort working under the Housekeeping Manager's direction.
- Strong organization, efficiency, and a quality-focused work style.

- Professional grooming and conduct at all times.
Language requirement
English fluency is required, both spoken and written.
