About the Role

This position is suited to someone who wants to build practical knowledge in finance operations within a busy brokerage setting. The role offers exposure to daily operational work and opportunities to support improvements in internal processes.

What We’re Looking For

The ideal candidate is careful, proactive, and able to adapt quickly. You should be comfortable working with spreadsheets, confident using Excel formulas, and able to think analytically. Strong communication and a dependable team-oriented approach are also important.

Job Scope

• Perform client reconciliations across capital market products including equities, scrip borrowing and lending, share financing, and futures for Prime Execution Services.
• Handle broker reconciliations.
• Carry out daily trust reconciliations.
• Manage fixed income reconciliations.
• Compute debit and credit interest for clients.
• Calculate remisier compensation.
• Prepare withholding tax reports.
• Support other ad hoc assignments as needed.

Requirements

• Interest in accounting and finance.
• Basic knowledge of accounting principles.
• Understanding of the brokerage industry and financial markets.
• Strong numeracy and data analysis ability.
• 1 to 2 years of work experience.
