DevOps Engineer - Riyadh

Role overview

This position is key to strengthening the company’s technical direction by building, running, and improving cloud environments and DevSecOps delivery pipelines. The person in this role will work with different teams to keep technology choices aligned with business priorities while continuously upgrading infrastructure, security, and operational practices.

What you will do

• Work with internal teams to interpret business goals and translate them into technical needs.
• Keep reviewing and improving workflows across infrastructure, development, security, and operations.
• Build, deploy, and manage cloud infrastructure and DevSecOps pipelines with a focus on speed and protection.
• Embed security controls into the software delivery lifecycle to support compliance and lower risk.
• Support development teams in the day-to-day operation of frontend and backend applications.
• Help spread practical knowledge of DevSecOps methods, tools, and standards across engineering and operations groups.
• Partner with developers, security specialists, and other stakeholders to drive successful adoption of DevSecOps practices.

Requirements

• A bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Software Engineering, or a similar discipline.
• 1 to 2 years of relevant experience in DevOps or a closely related function.
• Strong understanding of DevOps concepts such as CI/CD and Infrastructure as Code.
• Practical exposure to Oracle Cloud and DevSecOps tools including Jenkins, Docker, Kubernetes, Ansible, Terraform, and security scanning solutions.
• Good command of CI/CD systems and repositories or pipeline tools such as Git, Jenkins, and BitBucket Pipelines.
• Solid hands-on knowledge of Infrastructure as Code, particularly using Terraform and Ansible.
• Experience managing IT infrastructure, including patching, server administration, and deployments.
• Working familiarity with Ubuntu Linux administration and SDLC practices.
• Experience working with PHP and related frameworks or libraries.
• Hands-on experience with Redis, MongoDB, and MySQL.
• Windows Server experience will be considered an added advantage.
• Strong communication and interpersonal abilities for effective collaboration with clients and internal stakeholders.

This is a full-time role based in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia.
