About the role
The organization is hiring a Senior Data Scientist / Applied Scientist to join the core Platform Team. In this position, you will help improve the AI models behind the company’s proactive intelligence features. You will partner with engineers and scientists to apply machine learning, data mining, and statistical methods to create, launch, and refine the platform so that humans and AI can work together smoothly. The role is focused on advancing intelligent interactions and helping shape the future of work.
Responsibilities
- Design, assess, and improve machine learning models that interpret user intent, anticipate workflow requirements, and strengthen collaboration between people and AI.
- Investigate new methods, algorithms, and data sources to improve model quality and expand capabilities.
- Collect, prepare, and study large interaction datasets from multiple sources to uncover patterns and build useful features for AI systems.
- Work with engineering teams to ship models into production, track their performance, and identify opportunities for retraining and improvement.
- Keep up with developments in machine learning, data science, and human-computer interaction, and bring relevant advances into the product.
- Plan and run experiments, including A/B tests, to measure the impact of new models and product features on user experience and collaboration.
- Present technical results and recommendations clearly to both technical and non-technical stakeholders, while working closely with engineers, UX researchers, and product managers.
- Support platform architecture decisions so that model integration remains scalable, efficient, and reliable.
- Analyze how users interact with AI systems to anticipate needs and deliver proactive guidance and support.
Requirements
- At least 5 years of experience working as an Applied Scientist, Data Scientist, or Machine Learning Engineer.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Statistics, Mathematics, or a related discipline.
- Strong command of machine learning techniques such as regression, classification, clustering, and deep learning.
- Hands-on experience using Python and ML frameworks such as TensorFlow, PyTorch, or scikit-learn.
- Practical experience with data mining, data preparation, cleaning, and feature engineering.
- Strong analytical thinking and problem-solving ability.
- Effective communication and collaboration skills.
- Preferred: Master’s or Ph.D. in Computer Science, Statistics, Mathematics, or a related field.
- Preferred: Experience working with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or GCP.
