About the Role
The business is hiring a Customer Services & Warehousing team member for its Palmerston North branch on a 12-month fixed-term contract to cover parental leave. This is a varied, hands-on position that blends front-line customer support with warehouse duties. A significant part of the day will involve taking orders and assisting customers, alongside stock handling, goods receiving, dispatch support, and other tasks that help a small team operate efficiently.
Key Duties
- Take customer phone calls and manage orders received by email, online channels, and telephone.
- Record and update orders in the company’s internal systems.
- Support walk-in customers and handle counter sales.
- Prepare dispatch documentation and coordinate outgoing shipments.
- Receive incoming stock and assist with replenishment.
- Pick, pack, and process orders as needed.
- Help with regular stock counts.
- Work in partnership with colleagues to keep day-to-day operations running smoothly.
- Use a forklift to load and unload products when required to support the team.

The ideal candidate enjoys a fast-moving environment, works well with others, and is comfortable switching between office and warehouse tasks. You should be confident managing multiple priorities and supporting customers across different channels.
