Overview
Handshake is seeking experienced professionals from the energy sector to contribute to AI research in a flexible contract arrangement. This role is centered on reviewing AI-generated outputs and sharing expert feedback based on real-world knowledge of utility metering, customer operations, and energy billing systems. The goal is to help improve AI understanding of utility processes and customer data handling.
This is an ongoing, project-based opportunity that can be done alongside other commitments.
Role Details
- You will use your day-to-day industry expertise and familiarity with the tools used in your work to help create high-quality training data and assess AI responses for correctness and relevance.
- No previous AI background is needed.
- The work is fully remote and organized on a flexible, asynchronous basis, with no minimum weekly hour requirement.
- When active projects are available, most contributors typically spend about 5 to 20 hours per week.
- Selection is based on current project demand, and qualified contributors may be considered for future projects as well.
Qualifications
- You should have at least 2 years of professional experience in utility metering, customer operations, or a related energy function.
- Relevant experience may include positions such as Meter Data Analyst, Customer Ops Analyst, Billing Analyst, Energy Accountant, or similar roles in the energy industry.
- Practical experience with one or more of the following tools is required: Oracle MDM, Oracle CC&B, SAP, or Power BI.
- Strong written communication, careful attention to detail, and the ability to work independently in an asynchronous setup are important for this role.
