Company Overview
B.S.Sponge Private Ltd is hiring for a Control Room Operator role based in Gerwani, District Raigarh, Chhattisgarh (496001). The position is not remote and is intended for on-site work at the facility.
Role Summary
In this position, you will oversee CCTV surveillance activities, keep an eye on day-to-day movement at the premises, and help strengthen site safety by spotting unusual activity and reporting issues quickly.
Responsibilities
- Watch live CCTV camera feeds from the control room across the premises.
- Note, report, and escalate suspicious behavior, security incidents, or equipment faults.
- Keep detailed records of daily events, observations, and incident updates.
- Carry out daily shutdown checks and perform basic upkeep of CCTV equipment.
- Track vehicle entry and exit and maintain accurate movement logs.
- Stay in touch with security staff and carry out regular alertness verification by phone.
- Share CCTV recordings and incident reports with management or external authorities when required.
- Protect the confidentiality and integrity of surveillance information at all times.
- Notify the Chief Security Officer or the relevant person promptly about any system-related problem.
Requirements
- Working knowledge of CCTV systems and related equipment.
- Sharp observation skills and a high level of vigilance.
- Good written and verbal communication ability.
- Calm approach when handling stressful or urgent situations.
- Basic computer skills, including MS Office and data entry.
- Understanding of security procedures and emergency response practices will be an added advantage.
Qualifications
Minimum qualification: 12th pass. Preferred background: DCA or BCA.
Experience
Applicants should have 2 to 3 years of relevant experience.
Compensation and Benefits
