Role summary
The Community & Operations Intern supports GamingCenter’s international creator and player community while also assisting with everyday operational work. This is a part-time remote role of 20 hours per week. The position involves moderating community spaces, answering user questions, helping creators and players get started on the platform, and guiding them through navigation and onboarding. You will also help track bookings, keep records accurate, coordinate with internal stakeholders, and contribute to processes that keep operations running reliably.
What you will do
- Help manage online community channels and keep interactions constructive, welcoming, and inclusive.
- Reply to questions from users and provide support to creators and players when they need help.
- Assist new users with onboarding and show them how to use the platform effectively.
- Organize and monitor bookings while maintaining accurate operational records.
- Work with internal teams to support smooth day-to-day coordination.
- Take part in engagement activities that strengthen the community.
- Collect user feedback and surface ideas that can improve communication, workflows, and the overall experience.
- Use remote collaboration tools to coordinate with a distributed team across multiple time zones and report on activity as needed.

- Genuine interest in gaming, esports, or creator-led digital platforms; experience in online communities is helpful.
- Comfort with digital tools such as email, chat systems, ticketing or CRM software, and basic spreadsheets, along with the ability to learn new tools quickly.
- Studying or having studied business, communications, media, or a related field is helpful but not mandatory.
