About the Role

Braze is looking for an APAC Communications Manager to shape and deliver regional communications across Asia-Pacific. Reporting to the Vice President of Communications, this person will help build awareness, strengthen thought leadership, and grow brand preference for Braze in the region.

The role works in close partnership with global communications and regional marketing teams to ensure the company’s story is adapted for local audiences while staying aligned to global messaging. It suits a proactive communicator who understands the APAC media environment, enjoys crafting strong narratives, and can help elevate a global brand across varied markets.

Responsibilities

  • Create and run a regional communications plan for major APAC markets to raise awareness of Braze’s position in AI, customer engagement, and marketing technology.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with media, analysts, and influencers across business, technology, and trade outlets in places such as Singapore, Australia, South Korea, and Southeast Asia, while working alongside the communications lead in Japan.
  • Adapt global stories for APAC audiences so the messaging fits local culture, language, and business expectations.
  • Coordinate with global communications teams and local PR agencies to ensure consistent storytelling and regional support for global campaigns and initiatives.
  • Spot opportunities for executives and regional leaders to speak at events, take part in interviews, and join industry panels.
  • Prepare talking points, bylines, opinion pieces, and contributed articles that position Braze as a leader in customer engagement, personalization, and data-led marketing.
  • Work with global teams to shape narratives that showcase Braze’s innovation, culture, and impact throughout APAC.
  • Partner with product marketing and customer marketing teams to identify strong customer stories and case studies from the region.
  • Support localized messaging, media outreach, and APAC-specific content for product launches and announcements.
  • Make sure product communications stay aligned with Braze’s wider brand positioning and business goals.
  • Collaborate with regional marketing, content, and events teams so earned and owned channels work together effectively.

Requirements

  • 5 to 7 years of experience in corporate communications, product communications, public relations, or media strategy, ideally within B2B technology or SaaS.
  • Strong understanding of the APAC media and business landscape, supported by existing media relationships in key regional markets.
  • Excellent writing and speaking skills, with the ability to adapt messages for different audiences and countries.
  • Strong storytelling ability and a talent for turning complex technology into clear, compelling narratives.
  • Experience managing PR agencies and working across functions with global teams.
  • Comfort in a fast-moving, high-growth environment, with the ability to balance planning and hands-on execution.
