Role overview
Inizio Engage is building a nationwide Clinical Educator team in partnership with a pharmaceutical client. The focus of the program is educational support, mainly in psychiatry, for healthcare professionals and office staff in primary care and specialist settings.
In this role, you will provide disease-state and product education within a defined territory, following the standards set by the company and the manager. This is an opportunity to represent a leading biotechnology organization while supporting better understanding of treatment areas and patient care.
What you will do
- Deliver product demonstrations and educational sessions to healthcare professionals across a range of offices and facilities within an assigned geographic territory.
- Provide disease-state education and support to targeted healthcare professionals and office staff in coordination with the Client Account Manager.
- Adapt and present educational programs based on the needs of each office.
- Work only with approved materials supplied by Inizio Engage or the client, without modifying, copying, or distributing them.
- Complete all required training and competency assessments within the expected timeframe and to the required standard.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with key customers.
- Support the delivery and expansion of services across multiple healthcare sectors as directed by the Client Account Manager, Field.
- Contribute ideas for new and innovative approaches that may create partnership opportunities.
- Handle administrative work promptly, including daily system updates, weekly activity summaries, emails, and monthly expense reports.
- Keep any required professional registration or license current in line with state laws.
- Attend local and national meetings or conferences when needed to stay informed and share knowledge with the wider team.
- Care for company equipment and materials according to company instructions.
- Follow all Inizio Engage and client policies and procedures.
- Remain reachable during working hours to respond to questions.
- Hold a valid full U.S. driver’s license.
- Take on additional duties as assigned.
What we are looking for
- Background in the pharmaceutical industry or in a clinical educator role that involves direct interaction with healthcare professionals.
- Registered Nurse with 3 to 5 years of experience after completing education.
- Experience in neurology or psychiatry is strongly preferred.
- Clear, professional communication skills.
- Ability to present confidently to groups that may include physicians and office staff.
- Strong interpersonal skills.
- Well-developed organizational abilities.
- Self-motivated and able to work independently.
- Capability to manage multiple priorities and tasks.
- Commitment to ongoing professional development and keeping knowledge current.
- Willingness to travel, including overnight travel.
Compensation and benefits
The base salary range for this position is $88,000 to $163,000 per year. Final compensation will depend on factors such as experience, skills, internal equity, and business needs.
