Business Analyst

About the Role

Capgemini is looking for a Business Analyst to support payment-processing and cards-related initiatives in Whippany, NJ. The role sits within a global, collaborative environment where you will help deliver technology-driven solutions for large organizations while contributing to more inclusive and sustainable outcomes.

Cards Domain Expertise

• Work across card platforms covering credit, debit, and prepaid products.
• Handle transaction flows for POS, ATM, and e-commerce channels.
• Make sure solutions align with payment standards such as ISO 8583 and PCI-DSS.
• Check that integrations function correctly with major networks including Visa, Mastercard, and American Express.

Test Automation

• Create and support automation frameworks with tools such as Selenium, Cypress, Playwright, or UFT.
• Carry out API automation using tools like Postman, Rest Assured, or Karate.
• Embed automated testing into CI/CD delivery pipelines.

API Integration Testing

• Perform end-to-end validation of APIs and microservices used in payment processing.
• Review message structures, request and response payloads, and error-handling behavior.
• Test integrations between issuer systems, acquirer processors, and payment gateways.

Data Validation and Reconciliation

• Compare transaction data across payment processing, settlement, and general ledger or reconciliation platforms.
• Use SQL for backend data checks and validation.

Performance and Security Testing

• Support load and performance testing for environments that handle high transaction volumes.
• Assist with security validation and PCI compliance testing.

Compensation

The base pay range for this position in the stated location is USD 90,000 to USD 90,000 per year. Actual pay may vary based on factors such as location, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, market conditions, and internal pay equity. Additional pay such as bonuses, commissions, or variable incentives may also be available depending on the role and applicable law.
