Programme overview
This trainee track places you at the heart of a major change journey, where artificial intelligence is being used to reshape how value is created for consumers, employees, and the wider business.
As an AI Trainee, you will rotate through AI Engineering, Human Resources, AI Transformation, Project & Portfolio Management, and Beiersdorf’s global markets. This structure gives you a broad, practical view of what it takes to drive AI-enabled change in a multinational organization.
You will work on live initiatives that introduce AI into day-to-day work, support broader adoption across functions and countries, and help evolve new working methods. The programme combines technical exposure with organizational change, showing how people, leadership, and technology must work together to deliver sustainable impact.
By collaborating with specialists across the company, you will contribute to solutions and change efforts that strengthen innovation, expand AI use, and support Beiersdorf’s competitive edge. The programme is aimed at developing future AI leaders who can translate technology into adoption and measurable business results.
What you will work on
- Contribute to the development of AI-driven solutions and support their practical use in the business.
- Participate in rotations across AI Engineering, HR, AI Transformation, Project & Portfolio Management, and global markets.
- Help scale AI adoption across teams, functions, and geographies.
- Support organizational change activities linked to new ways of working.
- Work with experts to connect technology, leadership, and people-focused transformation.
- Build understanding of how AI can create business value at scale in a responsible way.
Candidate profile
The company is looking for graduates with a university degree and strong potential to grow into leadership roles. The ideal applicant is curious about how AI is changing business and society, enjoys solving problems, and can think both analytically and conceptually.
You should be comfortable working across diverse teams, have the confidence to communicate with stakeholders, and show initiative in a fast-changing environment. Interest in the overlap between AI, people, technology, and organizational transformation is important, as is the motivation to support Beiersdorf’s future growth through meaningful and responsible AI adoption.
Eligibility and experience
- A Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Business, Economics, Technology, Data Science, Psychology, Human Resources, or a related discipline.
- Demonstrated leadership potential through ownership, initiative, and collaboration.
- Strong curiosity about the impact of artificial intelligence on work, business, and society.
- Analytical and conceptual thinking paired with a practical, solution-oriented mindset.
- Interest in the intersection of AI, people, technology, and organizational change.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities across functions and cultures.
- Adaptability, initiative, and readiness to take responsibility in a rapidly evolving setting.
- At least 6 months of relevant practical experience through internships or similar exposure in areas such as AI, technology, consulting, change management, project management, HR transformation, innovation, or related fields.
