Role overview
The Payroll & Reward Administrator will support the People Team by handling payroll administration, compensation, benefits, and savings program processes. The role calls for experience with payroll across multiple jurisdictions and countries, along with strong administrative capability. A customer-focused attitude and interest in payroll and rewards are key for success in this position.
Key responsibilities
- Manage payroll-related processing for international and U.S. new hires, terminations, and leave of absence cases.
- Maintain accurate payroll data and protect data integrity across all connected systems.
- Keep payroll activities aligned with applicable legislation and compliance requirements.
- Set up time and attendance arrangements for employees on their first day.
- Provide high-quality support to employees and outside vendors, and escalate payroll or benefits issues when needed.
- Review and validate Record of Employment submissions.
- Take on additional tasks and special projects as assigned.
- Help administer and communicate reward and benefits programs.
Requirements
- At least 1 to 2 years of relevant payroll experience; exposure to multi-state and international payroll is a plus.
- Practical experience with HRIS platforms, especially Kronos or ADP, along with Microsoft Office tools such as Excel, Word, Teams, and Slack.
- Prior ATS exposure, including systems like Hibob or similar tools, is preferred.
- Strong client service orientation and good people skills.
- Clear verbal and written communication abilities, including the ability to present information.
- Solid analytical thinking and the ability to solve complex issues.
- Strong technical understanding and the ability to operate as an advanced user of integrated HRIS/database systems.
- Self-driven, collaborative, and comfortable working under pressure.
- Highly organized with strong accuracy and attention to detail.
