Account Manager

Role overview

Nalco, part of Ecolab, is hiring a motivated Account Manager to support its water treatment business in Dammam, Saudi Arabia. The role suits someone who enjoys working independently, building strong client partnerships, and delivering sales growth in a technical, customer-facing environment. The selected professional will work closely with customers across multiple industries and will be responsible for strengthening long-term relationships while consistently meeting business targets.

What you'll do

• Operate in a work setting where safety is a core priority.
• Create and tailor chemical treatment programs for water systems such as cooling towers, chillers, boilers, reverse osmosis units, and wastewater systems while keeping performance and environmental compliance in mind.
• Expand revenue and achieve monthly as well as annual sales goals.
• Stay actively engaged with clients during bidding and negotiation stages to build confidence and help close business.
• Prepare clear technical and commercial proposals that reflect customer requirements and industry expectations.
• Work with internal teams to align customer needs with the company’s capabilities and provide a coordinated service approach.
• Spot promising customers and market opportunities, then build plans to increase sales.
• Offer technical support to help customers improve the effectiveness of their water treatment applications.
• Maintain strong customer relationships through accurate reporting, regular communication, and a focus on service quality.
• Support on-site customer training by using operational training materials at assigned accounts.
• Contribute to solution development that improves customers’ water treatment process performance.

What we are looking for

• This role is located in Dammam, Saudi Arabia, and applicants should be open to relocation.
• A bachelor’s degree or an equivalent qualification in Chemistry or Chemical Engineering is required.
• Hands-on sales experience of 7 to 15 years in water treatment chemicals is needed.
• Strong interpersonal abilities and excellent written and spoken English communication skills are essential.
• Comfort with Microsoft Office tools is expected.
