About the internship
This remote, part-time internship is suited to creative and trend-aware students or recent graduates who want to build practical experience in social media marketing, digital branding, content creation, and online community growth. You will contribute to live marketing initiatives, help strengthen brand visibility across digital channels, and develop hands-on skills in modern social media practices.
What you will do
As a Social Media Marketing Intern, you will work closely with the marketing, content, and business teams to produce engaging material, nurture online communities, and support brand-building activities. The role is designed to help you gain industry-relevant digital marketing experience while creating work you can showcase in your portfolio.
- Plan, create, and publish content for different social media channels.
- Support the execution of social media campaigns.
- Study market trends, competitors, and audience behavior to inform content ideas.
- Prepare simple social media visuals using available design tools.
- Draft captions, posts, and promotional copy.
- Observe engagement levels, comments, and community conversations.
- Measure campaign results and compile performance summaries.
- Contribute to brand awareness and follower growth efforts.
- Coordinate with content, design, and marketing teams.
- Take part in brainstorming sessions for campaign concepts and content themes.
What you will learn
This internship is intended to build practical understanding in social media marketing, content strategy, branding, analytics, copywriting, influencer and partnership marketing basics, AI-assisted content creation, and collaborative communication in a professional marketing environment.
Eligibility
Applicants should be available for a work-from-home internship, able to begin between 3 July 2026 and 7 August 2026, and available for a six-month duration. Candidates should be final-year students, postgraduate students, or recent graduates with a genuine interest in social media marketing, branding, content creation, or digital marketing. Strong written and verbal communication skills, familiarity with current social media trends, creativity, self-motivation, and basic exposure to Canva or similar content tools are expected.
Other requirements
- Students or graduates from Marketing, Business, Communications, Journalism, Mass Media, Design, or similar streams are preferred.
- Experience handling personal, college, freelance, or business social media profiles will be an advantage.
- Comfort with LinkedIn, Instagram, Facebook, X, YouTube, and broader content marketing approaches is desirable.
- A strong interest in branding, storytelling, audience engagement, and digital growth is important.
