About the internship

This six-month internship offers hands-on exposure to core accounting and tax work at a chartered accountancy firm. The role is designed for a detail-focused intern who wants practical experience in bookkeeping, indirect and direct tax compliance, audit support, and financial reporting under the guidance of a practicing chartered accountant.

What you will do

Support the preparation and filing of GST returns, including GSTR-1 and GSTR-3B.
Assist with income tax return filing.
Work on TDS calculations, return filing, and related reconciliations.
Record accounting entries and keep books updated in Tally/ERP.
Carry out bank reconciliations and review ledger accounts for accuracy.
Help with statutory audit and internal audit assignments.
Prepare basic financial statements such as the balance sheet and profit and loss statement.
Match GST 2B data with the books of accounts.
Draft replies for income tax and GST notices when required.
Maintain organized documentation and keep compliance records current.

Who can apply

Applicants must be available for a full-time, in-office internship and be able to begin between 24 June 2026 and 29 July 2026. The internship runs for 6 months. Only candidates from Thane, Mumbai, Virar, Vashi, and Mira Bhayandar may apply. Relevant skills and a genuine interest in accounting and taxation are required. Women who are looking to begin or restart their careers are also encouraged to apply.

Additional information

You will gain practical training in accounting, GST, income tax, audit, and statutory compliance while working in a professional CA firm.
